Summer Lakes Weekend

Not really a club trip, but club members are welcome!

I've booked two rooms at Windermere YHA for the weekend of Friday 1st / Saturday 2nd August. The plan will be to head up to the Lake District at some point on Friday. Drink some beer in the evening and then either walk, scramble or mountain bike on Saturday - depending on the weather. Sunday has a Washburn Release, so on the assumption that nothing else will be running, drive over to Yorkshire - approx 90 mins from Windermere, and take several trips down the short but always fun river (if we are lucky there might be a grade 4 shuttle service running). Ball park costs are between £50 and £55 for B&B at the YHA plus whatever we decide to do for evening meals and of course beer money...

Many beds are already reserved, but if we get in quick, I should be able to get an extra room.
