Spare place on Safety Course - 16th June

REPLYRob - 09 June 2007 19:10:23: There is a spare place on the one day safety course that we have booked at Canolfan Tryweryn for Saturday 16th June. The course covers basic skills of safe swimming in moving / white water, throw line use etc. It is ideal for anyone that spends time around (in!)fasy moving water - with no pre-requisites other than being able to swim. No boats are used and all specialist equipment is available. The course is being held at Canolfan Trywern, just outside Bala. For those that know the river, these courses are usually run on the section above the chipper which offers an excellent safe environment to practice these skills and there will be a top level coach from the centre to ensure you get the most from the day. The normal price is £32, but this course is being subsidised by the club and will cost just £15 each.
